San Diego County has thousands of local, independent farms, and keeping them viable is genuinely hard. The Adopt A Farmer program creates a direct financial bridge between community members and the growers they want to support. Your sponsorship funds go straight to the farm, giving farmers the resources to invest in their land and keep growing.
You receive certified organic produce harvested directly from the farm you sponsored, along with seasonal updates, invitations to visit the land, and a real stake in how it all turns out.

The flagship of the Adopt A Farmer program and the physical home of Heal The Earth. Wild Acres is a certified organic avocado farm in the hills of Bonsall. The 2026 harvest sold out. The 2027 season is open now.
