Our local farms grow community.
Real San Diegans know this.

Adopt A Farmer, formerly Adopt An Avocado Tree, connects you directly with local growers and puts your support behind the specific goals they are working toward. They get the resources to keep farming. You become a sponsor of your farm of choice and receive certified organic produce.

60 acres and more than 8,000 plants in the hills of Escondido, growing over 20 varieties of dragon fruit. The season picks up right where Wild Acres leaves off.

The Goal Your Support Funds

Getting Fortule Farms into local schools

Your support helps Farmer Ken cover the cost of certification to sell directly to the school system, which runs between $4,000 and $7,000. Once it's done, fresh, local, certified organic produce can flow straight into our community's schools.
